Abstract
The paper is dedicated to problems of encoded archival description (EAD) of archival record groups deposed in the National Library of France and some other higher education institution libraries. The retroconversion from MARC to EAD, causes and effects of the contravention of the archivistic principles during the Calames and CGM projects and undesirability of the application of this French experience in Russia are analyzed in this article.

Abstract
This article considers the original importance and archeographic grade of the latest volumes of three completed publications on the history of the Soviet village in the 3d decade of the XX century. The publications are “Soviet village in the eyes of VChK (All-Russia Extraordinary Commission for Combating Counter-Revolution and Sabotage) - oGPU (State Political Directorate) - NKVD (The People’s Comissariat for Internal Affairs)”, “‘Top secret’: Lubyanka to Stalin”, “Famine in the USSR”. The conclusions about the controversial character of the data and archeographic processing of the published documents were made.

Abstract
Historiographical and source study’s problems of basic reference book preparation are studied in the article. This reference book is devoted to the history of the Russian state institutions’ functioning in the period of XV century - February 1917, to the development of its administrative authorities at all levels of power, the evolution and order of rank’s promotion and to the history of origin, existence and development of all the types of records keeping documentation of higher, central and local institutions of Russia. A separate reference book covers the main kinds and versions of the Soviet period’s records.

Abstract
The article is dedicated to studying the history of the personal fund generation of princes Abamelek-Lazarevs. The special attention is paid to the analysis of moving the materials of Abamelek-Lazarevs in 1930s during the profiling of the archives and their destinies during the evacuation for a period of the Great Pathriotic War in Russia. Also to the archivists’ efforts for keeping unique historic documents. Author made the reconstruction of main events in compiling and scientific adaptation of documents of archive fund when she analysed the documents of fund’s file and materials found in files f. 1498 “RGADA office”.

Abstract
This article is about a former Russian officer Boris Fournier who was born in S. Petersburg in 1891. He fought against Germany and Austria in the war of 1914-1918 being an officer of Keksgolmsky regiment. After the disintegration of the Russian empire Boris Fournier emigrated to Poland. He was arrested by NKVD in 1939 and executed in 1940 in Katyn.

The author of this article examines the documents from The National Archives of Great Britain revealing some facts of the biography of a British journalist George Dobson, who lived and worked in Russia in 1874-1920. Special attention is paid to his activities during the civil war in the South of Russia.

Abstract
The article deals with the problem of developing professional and semantic interaction between the teacher and the student in modern higher education. The author analyses questions of shaping students’ critical thinking, peculiarities of working with information, as well as doing comparative analysis of texts. The article presents a hierarchy of positions which the student can occupy in educational process depending on how independent he is in his activity. The article also shows the dynamics of interaction of positions in reflexive relations and a system of didactic approaches, which build up the exterior structure of interaction between the teacher and the student.

Foreign archival Rossika forms a considerable part of Russia cultural heritage. The book contains geographic distribution of the archival Rossika as well as set of its reference finding aids. The book is intended for historians, archivists and other researchers concerned with issues of the Russian abroad and foreign archival Rossika.
