Papers relative to the History of Church found in the Archive of Holy Trinity orthodox Seminary in Jordanville

Abstract

The largest US center of collecting and storage of Russian cultural heritage is the Monastery in Jordanville, NY (New York) founded in 1930 under the jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church abroad. The article is about an archive of Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary, where more than 100 archive funds were deposited. By now most of the archival collections have been described in detail. Besides 30 collections are there also on microfilm. Archive inventory are available to researchers in both English and Russian languages. This article will be of interest to historians, archivists and other researchers interested in the Russian emigration and foreign archival Rossica.
