Abstract
The article analyzes basic provisions of the general and special theories of archival administration developed by V.N. Avtokratov; shows their strong points and restrictions, reveals system of theoretical views of the outstanding soviet archivist scholar, a disclosure is maid on the main and supporting concepts and categories used by the scientist. The conclusion is drawn on the need for further theoretical research in the field of archival administration from the standpoint of the system and information approaches; some important for archival administration issues posed by electronic records are formulated.

Abstract
This paper focuses on the digitizing process as the most convenient mechanism for the preservation digitizing process for archival materials, including an analysis of possible ways of transfer of documents in electronic form, categories of documents for digitization, storage formats of electronic documents and current digitization standards research. The article also analyzes necessary conditions for creating a virtual archive of historical personalities or events in the modern context. Special attention is paid to the features of e-resource organization. The author explores existing modern projects in the field and analyzes the possible challenges that the researcher might face when creating electronic archive.

Abstract
The article deals with the history of the foundation of archives and the preservation of historical and documentary heritage of the Chechen people. It is stated that in 1918-1919 the decrees connected with archives administration were adopted and served as the basis for the creation in the Gorsk autonomous republic of the Tersk regional archival department which initiated the salvage of archives and archival documents from doom and depredation. The paper analyses the performance of archival bodies when collecting and establishing archives in the succeeding decades. Special attention is paid to the difficulties of the making and the development of the local network of the Chechen state archives including regional archives. The tragic pages in the history of the Chechen people adversely affected the safety of archives. It is pointed out that the transfer of archives under the charge of the Republican Soviet of Ministers has restored their legal status and promoted the activities of archivists in collecting, classification and use of archives.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the Tatar Unified Party Archive activities during the Great Patriotic War. Poor knowledge of the regional history of the party archives’ system gives a special relevance to the examined topic. The Tatar Unified Party Archive archivists’ activities is explored,both in ensuring the safety of the main part of the funds and in the storage of evacuated materials. It is revealed that during the war years technical archival activities dominated over the research one. In war years, Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic UPA took part in massive state security operations and propaganda campaigns.

Abstract
A series of articles devoted to the organization of military and historical service of the Russian army and the use of combat experience of the Russian Empire in the period of the World War I in the early and mid-twentieth century, as well as to what became archeographic projects involved with military documents publications. The focus is on activities and editions of military history commissions Main (later General) Headquarters of the Empire during the Soviet period - the All-Russian General Headquarters of the Red Army are traced. The fates of military editors and prepared by them military documents publications, primarily on the history of the World War I. Particular emphasis is placed on the issues of the organization of documentary publications and source studies of military history associated with there search in the history of the “Great War”.

Abstract
In the Bulgakov’s literary heritage the play “Days of the Turbins” holds a prominent place: based on his “White Guard” novel it was his first work performed by the Moscow Art Theatre (MAT). The resources for studying its theatre and publishing history, its gradual rewriting in 1925 and 1926,are the typewritten copies of its three editions now kept in several archival funds and represented in handwritten Bulgakov’s heritage in the form of variants and copies. The article examines relations between art history of the play “Days of the Turbins” (particularly, its staging perception by Moscow Art Theatre in 1926), first publications of its three editions and its manuscripts preserved in archives of Moscow and Saint Petersburg.

The paper covers the history of prior publications of Henry IV’s letters including those from the Imperial Public Library (now - the Russian National Library); it also describes all his well-known by now letters preserved in the archives and libraries of Paris, St. Petersburg and Moscow.

The article touches upon the search, finding and study of audiovisual documents on the history of German Instrument of Surrender sighing ceremony on May 8, 1945 created by Russian cameramen, photographers and broadcasters and now stored in Russian archives. It also contain an analysis of the identified documents in terms of their origin and the content in conjunction with the published written sources.

Abstract
The article presents a positive experience of Archives and records management students’ general competences development through engaging them in the work on documentary and memorial publication “Tyumen State University: pages from the Great Patriotic War history”. The possibility for developing skills demanded by labor market through the search and research activities is noted. The study shows the need and means of motivation improvement for students, participation in research projects. It also reflects an importance of consolidating the feeling of significance and relevance of their work results by the society and recognition of personal contribution of each author to the common cause.
