Abstract
The article discusses the history of the formation and activity of one of the most interesting departmental archives of Russia of the 19th century: An Archive of the Ministry of Public Education. The author shows how during the 19th century, a badly organized securities storage was evolving into one of the country’s best storages in the organization, description and use of the archives. The paper shows the role of some individual archivists in the organization of the work of archives, as well as their role in the organization and carrying out of the archival reform in 1918.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the coverage of activities of theorists and practicians of archieve-keeping in Russia and in the republic during the pre-revolutionary period: N.V. Kalachov, R.G. Ignatiev, P. Samokvasov, the members of Orenburg scientific archieve committee (OSAC), their contribution to the development of archieve-keeping. In the conclusion the author talks about the neccessity of modern archivists to study and to adopt the experience of predecessors.

Abstract
The article considers the history of formation, collecting and using of the documentary heritage of the peoples of the Northern Caucasus in XIX. The author of the article analyzes activities of military scientific organizations aiming at preservation of the archival documents and analysis of the archives. Abstract
The article focuses on the perspectives for preserving documentary heritage of the new social movements (NSM) in the former USSR based on the history of the grass-root peace movement. It is especially important because the specific nature of such movements does not contribute to the proper documentation of their history and greatly complicates the work of professional historians. The article shows in particular by the example of the participants in NSM themselves the “virtual archive” of the new social movements, the relevance of the development of information technology, digital humanities and network civil science and their application in archival and archeographic practice.

Abstract
A series of articles devoted to the organization of military and historical service of the Russian army and the use of combat experience of the Russian Empire in the period of the World War I in the beginning - the mid-twentieth century, as well as the fate of archeographical project, related to military documents publicatoin. The focus is on activities and editions of military history commissions Main (later General) Headquarters of the Empire during the Soviet period - the All-Russian General Headquarters of the Red Army are traced. The fates of military editors and prepared by them military documents publications, primarily on the history of the World War I. Particular emphasis is placed on the issues of the organization of work and the issues of documentary publications and source studies of military history associated with the research in the history of the “Great War”.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of accounting documents of state institutions in Tver province (1918-1936). In the State archive of the Tver region documents represented by the internal and external reportings of local government institutions for private trade are identified. The author analyzed the major forms and varieties of reporting documentation identified informative features of those documents. The analysis of the enclosed in them information credibility and authenticity was carried out. The interrelation and complementarity for office documents of reporting nature, regulating the process of government control over private trade in state institutions were educed.

Abstract
This article provides a brief analysis of the status and history of the Imperial House of Romanovs in exile after the Revolution of 1917. Specifically, it examines the relations between the Heads of the dynasty and the hierarchies of three jurisdictions of the Russian Orthodox Church in emigration, as well as the hierarchies of other local Orthodox Churches. The article also surveys the present relationship between the dynasty and the Church, offers a descriptive overview of the sources for the history of the Church preserved in the archives of the Russian Imperial House, and explores the issue of their introduction into the scientific circulation. The substance of the article was delivered as a talk in December 2015 at the international conference “Archival Studies in Russia and Abroad in the 18th - 21st Centuries: The Current State of the Question and Future Prospects”, which took place at the History and Archives Institute of the Russian State University for the Humanities in Moscow, which was held to mark the 80th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian archivist, Evgenii Vasil’evich Starostin (1935-2011).

Abstract
The article deals with the scientific works of the prominent Bulgarian scholar Alexandra Kumanova. The stages of her creative and professional activity are analyzed. The article describes the educational and scientific activity of the scholar. It is shown that A. Kumanova made a great contribution to world bibliography and, on the whole, to world culture since she is the author of the main innovatory works on bibliography research in which she presented the bibliographical picture of Humanities bibliography and the philosophical conception of the subject matter of the integrated Information space.
