Telecommunications pioneer. Marking the 230-th anniversary of the birth of the electric telegraph inventor P.L. Schilling von Kanstadt
Abstract
230 years ago P.L. Shilling von Kanshtadt was born, who is known as the great scientist, innovator, cryptograph. His most important invention was the electric telegraph what made a revolution in communications. Almost instantaneous transmission of the information became possible. P.L. Shilling also headed a cryptographic service and developed several cyphersystems.
