Some new documentary data about the modernizationof the Soviet village in 1929-1939

This article considers the original importance and archeographic grade of the latest volumes of three completed publications on the history of the Soviet village in the 3d decade of the XX century. The publications are “Soviet village in the eyes of VChK (All-Russia Extraordinary Commission for Combating Counter-Revolution and Sabotage) - oGPU (State Political Directorate) - NKVD (The People’s Comissariat for Internal Affairs)”, “‘Top secret’: Lubyanka to Stalin”, “Famine in the USSR”. The conclusions about the controversial character of the data and archeographic processing of the published documents were made.
